Sleep Away Weekend

Sleep Away Weekend

Lots of couples like to plan romantic weekends aways to reconnect with each other, away from jobs and kids and their household chores. They might enjoy a candlelite dinner or a live show. Movies always depict these weekends away with rose petals spread around the room and a bubble bath.

Blah Blah Blah.

I am very excited to say my husband and I are going away for a night to sleep. We got overnight babysitters for all three of the girls, and we are going to a hotel to sleep. We aren't even really leaving the area because we don't want to waste time driving. Our plan is to drop off our beautiful daughters with trusted family members, pick up food on the way to the hotel and then nothing.

This is our birthday presents to ourselves. Both of our birthdays are this month, and we decided more than anything we just want quiet time. With moving and my husband living in a different state at the moment, things have been stressful, and all three girls have been having trouble sleeping for the last month or so. Somedays I'm so tired I just start crying.
